Reporting 2024 Sales and Refunds in California and Connecticut

Fee Increase Effective January 1, 2025

On January 1, 2025, the fee for mattress and foundation sales in California and Connecticut increased to $16.00 per unit sold. Beginning with the January 2025 reporting period, the reporting portal will calculate your recycling fee at $16.00 per unit sold or refunded.

December 2024 Sales Reporting

Sales made in December 2024, regardless of the delivery date, must be included in your December report to be calculated at the following rates:

• $11.75 – Connecticut
• $10.50 – California

If you have already submitted your report for December, please contact support@mrc-us.org to make any changes.

Refunds for 2024 Sales

Refunds for sales made in 2024 must be reported for the amount collected at the time of sale as follows:

• $11.75 – Connecticut
• $10.50 – California

Options to select the proper rate will be available when you submit your reports.
